It’s time to kick off a new year on a new platform, Forza Motorsports 7. Starting tonight 2/14/18 we'll kick off Speed Week with a lobby opening at 8:30 pm CT, cars and tracks will be group decided in lobby, leading to random fun and mayhem. Lobbys will be open throughout the rest of the week leading up to our first one-off of the year, The Daytona 200. This will be an 80 lap event covering 200 miles of the famed tri-oval at Daytona International speedway, qualifying will take place this Sunday February 18th at 8:45 p.m. Central Time with the race beginning shortly after that around 9 p.m.
The cars for this event will be any of the 2017 NASCAR's found in Forza 7. Cars will be run as stock R33 PI no upgrades allowed. Tuning however, will be allowed (if the stock part is tunable then it can be tuned). Also note that these cars require a game level of Tier 3 to be unlocked, so joining in on the open lobbies this week will help to level you up and gain the necessary coins to purchase these vehicles.
