The scheduled season opener of the Season 3 2013 FRL at Sebring has been pushed back one week from July 25th to August 1st.
The 1.2 Hours of Sebring will be a special event. Both classes will be run. Instead of the normal 3 heat race per class though, each class will take the track for a timed event of 36 minutes. Points will be scored on position and lap time as normal. The total of both 36 minute sessions equal the 1.2 hour namesake. One pit stop will be mandatory for all racers. This pit stop can be made at any time AFTER the first 10 minutes of racing have elapsed. An announcement will be made over the mics after the 10 minute mark is reached to indicate the pits are open.
