MBR Returns To Form

One of the biggest changes in the off-season between last year's FEC series and the FRL WTCC Season 5, was the announcement of the merger of Dean-Ruff Motorsport and Maestri Bros. Racing. While the merger held alot of promise in its initial stages, ultimately the effort fell-through and four drivers had to scramble to contine their season as privateers.

Two of those drivers, brothers Paul and Ethan Maestri, have announced today the reforming of the MBR garage. Ethan Maestri had this to say about the announcement:

"In a small way, it was sad to have to shutter MBR and move to Razorback Motorsport. But it felt necessary at the time and Paul and I worked to back RZM with the same level of excitement as we had with MBR. When it didn't work out, we didn't immediately look to revive the garage, but it wasn't long before the discussion did happen. For us personally, MBR is as much a part of the FRL as anything. It's great to have the team back together. Paul is right back at it, producing a brand for us to identify ourselves with and we'll both be looking to bring an elevated level of driving worthy of the team name to the coming season."
