FRL Off Season Draws To A Close

It has been 10 weeks since the close of the FEC's race at Hockenheim. After the champagne dried on the firesuits and the helmets and gloves were stored away, a long summer off-season set in. But now all that time has passed and it's time to get back to racing! September 1st represents the transition to the new season of FRL racing for this fall/winter 2016. Season 5 kicks off on Sept. 11th with the Race of Australia, but the season begins now with registration of drivers and teams being locked in.

All drivers should be settled on their race cars for the WTCC series and should begin posting lap times in Rivals. This will help the rest of the drivers in the series know where they are at in their car development and give them time to make any improvements they see fit before the race at Bathurst.

If you still have not chosen a car and registered it for the season, please do so as soon as possible.

There have been a lot of moves made in this off-season, and more announcements to come as well. But suffice to say this may be one of the most diverse and exciting seasons in the FRL to date! Stay tuned for more information as we close in on qualifying on Sept. 8th and the Race of Austalia to kick of Season 5 of the FRL.
