Grid Set for Yas Marina

 It was a beautiful night for qualifying at Yas Marina circuit this past Thursday ahead of the Race of United  Arab Emirates this coming Sunday. Nine drivers readied their vehicles and set the grid for Sunday's event. The front row will be populated with the usual suspects as Apex Racing continues its dominance from Bathurst. Andrew Steppat takes pole with a 2:14.020 follwed by Travis Billingsley with a 2:15.453.

 Paul Maestri got some seat time and bested his brother and one-time teammate by turning a 2:16.732 a full .200 faster than Ethan. Drew Dilbeck cracks the top 5 in qualifying for the first time and plants his Audi in row three for Sunday nights first heat. Matthew Smith pulled down a 2:22.492 to become the top rookie starter for Sunday night as well.

 Sunday nights event gets set beginning at 8:30 PM Central with lobby open and warmup sessions. Heat 1 will begin at 9:05 PM.
